I am Subrat Biswal (Father of Sai Shreyansh Biswal Grade 1A class) writing feedback for today’s morning assembly performed by Grade 1 Student and organised by Narayana School, Palam Vihar
The morning assembly was truly wonderful, meaningful, and inspiring. The students of Grade 1 presented the theme “Women Empowerment – Equal Respect” beautifully through a variety of engaging activities.
The assembly began with a warm welcome address, followed by the peaceful chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and Saraswati Vandana, creating a positive and spiritual atmosphere.
The drama on equality between boys and girls conveyed a powerful message that every child deserves equal opportunities, respect, and encouragement. The children's performance was very good, but in my opinion, if the dialogue delivery had been in Hindi instead of English, we all would have been able to connect emotionally much better.
The story of Maa Durga, presented through drama, beautifully highlighted the strength, courage, and power of women. It was impressive to see such young children confidently communicate such an important social message.
The musical performance, school song, and national anthem added charm, enthusiasm, and a sense of pride to the assembly. The family bonding programme was another wonderful initiative that highlighted the importance of love, understanding, teamwork, and togetherness within families.
Heartfelt appreciation to all the Grade 1 students, dedicated teachers, and the school management and specially thanks to Meetu Mam for organizing such a meaningful and well-coordinated assembly. It was delightful to see young minds learning and spreading the values of gender equality, mutual respect, and family bonding.
Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience. Such activities play a vital role in building confidence, developing moral values, and nurturing responsible citizens from an early age.
